Description:
Must live on site at Bryce Canyon and be enrolled in the Semester in the Parks Program
- Serve as a liaison between students, SUU Faculty and Staff, Ruby's Inn, and Bryce Canyon, including serving as first point of contact for emergencies.
- Assist faculty and staff on Field Experience weekends
- Organize the SIP parent weekend with the SIP students
- Meet with students weekly as a group
- Open and close the HPI (High Plateaus Institute) at Bryce Canyon (SIP class space), keep clean with assistance from other SIP students.
- Assist with logistics as needed (such as menu planning, grocery shopping, equipment supervision and maintenance, etc.)
- Training required at SUU and Bryce (details TBA - we will work with you to determine the schedule)
Qualifications:
Must be an accepted applicant in the Fall 2018 Semester in the Parks Program
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to follow up on tasks.
Good organization and planning skills.
Ability to arrange weekly meeting with students as a group.
